The Pennsylvania Technical Assistance Program (PennTAP) at Penn State (http://penntap.psu.edu/) engages and empowers Pennsylvania organizations through technical assistance and Penn State expertise and resources. This position would be a 10 hour per week commitment and the student would be working with companies located in Pennsylvania. PennTAP is currently looking for a highly motivated graduate student for environmental research and hands-on field experience with client on-site assessments starting in the Fall Semester 2016. Excellent oral and written communication skills are required. Candidate will be responsible for a variety of assignments related to environmental needs as required by clients. Duties will include the preparation of written reports and other correspondence with clients, assist the PennTAP Technical Advisors to conduct on-site assessment visits and perform various research regarding pollution prevention and energy efficiency. The ideal candidate would have an interest in pollution prevention and energy efficiency. A well written cover letter should include details of relevant experience and why the student feels they would be a good candidate for this position. A resume that outlines the background must accompany the cover letter. The resume and letter should note any direct pollution prevention and energy efficiency experiences.
