Associate, Internal Operations Position at a Solar Energy Technology Company

An innovative solar energy company is seeking a highly motivated individual to help in the growth of its business. This position is for an Associate in the Internal Operations department. This person would own and lead multiple projects related to the day-to-day operations of the company, as well as contribute efficiency-driving new ideas and provide other support as may be needed.

Locus Energy offers a technology platform providing automated monitoring support and data analytics for distributed generation systems (residential, commercial & industrial), focusing in solar PV. The company was founded in 2007, and its web-based platform enables project stakeholders to maximize the efficiency and transparency of installed systems. Locus Energy's software aggregates performance data from a network of distributed renewable systems and provides customized interfaces and analytics to owners, operators, OEMs and regulators.

Job Responsibilities:

    Manage all aspects of accounts receivable and accounts payable
    Identify and implement KPIs and efficiency-driving processes across all teams
    Build ad hoc metrics-based reports and dashboards in CRM/ERP platforms
    Manage customer onboarding processes
    Manage quarterly subscription renewals process
    Manage cellular processes and assist in associated contract negotiations
    Assist in inventory procurement
    Assist with order scheduling and fulfillment
    Ensure excellent and timely customer communication for Ops-specific inquiries
    Complete ad hoc administrative tasks as-needed
    Act as office manager
    Assist in other aspects of company growth as required


This person should be comfortable with a do-it-yourself atmosphere, where their success is solely dependent on their individual work input and problem solving skills. The ideal candidate should be self-directed, self-motivated, and dedicated to getting their responsibilities done with a high level of quality. Ability to work well within a small team, ability to quickly learn new concepts, and strong analytical skills are necessary. Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) are also required. Existing knowledge of Excel, Salesforce, and Netsuite is preferred. The ideal candidate should be interested in the renewable energy field.
